It is said in the statement of the US International Broadcast Bureau carrying out administrative and technical support of the Radio that they decided to redouble broadcasting in Georgian language in connection with the conflict in South Ossetia. Since 9 August, one-hour programs in Georgian – “news, information, interviews, analytics and reaction to the crisis from the former Soviet republics” will be daily aired on “The Voice of America”.
