An anthology of selected works of Azerbaijani literati titled “Lepestki” (“The Petals”) was published in Perm, Russia. The anthology was prepared by our compatriot Ilham Giyamat oghlu Aliyev. The book includes writings of encyclopaedic information feature and necessary explanations for Russian-speaking readers.
The book opens with state anthems of Russia and Azerbaijan. It also contains extracts from eposes “Koroghlu” and “Gachag Nabi”, “Kuchelere su sepmishem” folk song, creativities of Nizami Ganjavi, Mahsati Ganjavi, Hasanoghlu, Imadaddin Nasimi, Shah Ismayil Khatai and other Azerbaijani literati.
Considering the readers’ audience, besides the Russian language there are some translations in Azerbaijani and English.
