A seminar on “Roles of books in ecological education of young generation” will be held by the Directors Council in the mass library named after M.Sh. Vazeh on March 15 for the purpose of methodical aid to the libraries of Yasamal and Nesimi region, Baku city Culture and Tourism Department informed on it. As we informed, President Ilham Aliyev declared 2010 “the Year of Ecology” in Azerbaijan. On this occasion, every cultural-education centre tries to contribute to “the Year of Ecology”.
The event to bring together library directors, department chiefs and a number of librarians will feature a lecture of the teacher of Baku State University, Candidate of Law, Dashgin Gambarov on “The International Ecological Standards and Azerbaijan”. Besides it, chairman and members of Directors Council of Library, press representatives will attend the seminar. The event will be organized by Sadagat Seyidzadeh, the representative of Library Directors Council on Yasamal region. V. Guliyev, the director of the children’s library named after A. Shaig will address the seminar.
