Problems of Azerbaijan and Russia’s media will be discussed
Round table on the subject of “Problems of contemporary press on the content of Russia’s media” will be held on September 13, 2010 at 11.00, at the conference hall of Caspian Plaza Business Center with the organization of Azerbaijan Free Speech Foundation (AFSF) and Joint Working Group on Implementation of International Standards of Human Rights in Azerbaijan. Leading faces of Russian journalism and experts on media will participate in the round table. Thus besides participation of Vsevolod Bogdanov, who worked as the Director General of Central Television Programs in the USSR State Television and Radio Committee, Chairman of Russia Journalists Union since 1992 having 15 years newspaper experience, there will be secretaries of the union – doctor of law, professor M.A. Fedotov and the Hero of Russian Federation Y.M. Baturin. After giving broad information on current state of Russian media, problems of Azerbaijan and Russian media and their development directions will be discussed on the basis of mutual analyses. Well-known media experts of Azerbaijan, lawyers, representatives of mass media are invited to the round table. Organizers of this event want each participant representing our country to be active in discussions.
