Later on, according to the data of The New Times, Russia signed a $ 0.845 mln contract with the Ketchum at the beginning of 2007 on rendering PR services, lobbying and keeping in touch with American editions. As the magazine writes, for the last two years Russia has signed the contracts with the Ketchum and the Washington Group to the sum total of $8 mln. Due to these contracts the PR companies prepared the meetings of Russian politicians with the representatives White House and Congress, and assisted to organize the Petersburg economic forum and the Valdaisk club.
Besides, the agencies organized dozens of interviews of Russian politicians with leading American mass media – the CNN, the ABC News, the Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, the Bloomberg and so on.
