Azerbaijani Mugam Theatre hosted a presentation of Azerbaijani poet Vali Ahmad’s book entitled “I gave my heart to poetry” on December 20. The ceremony was dedicated to his 70th anniversary.
The author of the book is Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva. “Although the poet was born and worked in the Tovuz region, his work is much more enlightened beyond the Tovuz region,” G. Pashayeva said.
Book’s editor Akbar Goshaly said Ahmad’s verses reflect the trouble, compassion, joy and sorrow of all Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples.
Remind that poet Vali Ahmed died Aug. 11, 2009.
