Next issue of “Azerbaijan”

The part “Poetry” opens the second issue of the magazine “Azerbaijan” for 2010. This section includes poet Nariman Hasanzadeh’s poem “Nuru Pasha” and verses of Khasai Mehdizadeh, Parvin, Suleiman Ismail, Mahjamal, Rahil Mammad, Rafig Oday, Ajdar Farzali, Guloglan Dunya, Jafar Mehman Aliyev, Rafig Dagli and Kerem Kurqirakhly. The “Translation” part of the edition features an extract from the English writer George Orwel’s famous novel “1984” translated from the original by prominent scholar and publicist, well-known diplomat Vilayet Guliyev. Also his writing about his thoughts on the work titled “A book terrifying Totalitarianism” has been included into the magazine. It also presents Tofig Abdin’s narrative “The State Revolution”, Gulkhanim Fataligyzy’s writing “Leaves from Life” dedicated to his husband, People’s artist Mammad Araz.
The prose lovers can familiarize themselves with works by Aydin Talibzadeh “Marfusha”, Yagub Alioglu “The Shooting” and Vugar Tapdigli “When Trees Keep Silence”.
A part titled “Criticism and History of Literature” presents Lala Efendiyeva’s research “Garabagh in Russian Literature”.
A heading titled “The Books, Reviews” includes Ifrat Aliyeva’s “Scientific interpretation of Translation Problems” and other writings.
