Director of the Institute of Folklore under ANAS, Doctor of Philology Hussein Ismailov’s books entitled “The Ashug Art of Azerbaijan. Goycha” and “Questions of Russian literature in Azerbaijan’s literary criticism” have been published in Russian, ANAS reported on it. The editors of the book “The Ashug Art of Azerbaijan. Goycha” are the Doctors of Philology R.F. Islamov and F.I. Urmanchiyev. The book consists of three chapters. The reviewers of the book are the Associate member of ANAS Nizami Jafarov and academician Isa Habibayli. The editor of the book “Questions of Russian literature in Azerbaijan’s literary criticism” is the Doctor of Philology R.F. Islamov, reviewers are the Candidate of Philology A. The monograph features an analysis of researches of prominent literary critic, critic academician M. Arif about the Russian literature of new period (XVII century and the end of XIX century, the beginning of XX century). The book consists of an introduction, three chapters and a summary. The ditions have been published in Kazan.
