The book and poster exhibitions “March 31- Day of Azerbaijani Genocide” and “Armenian Terrorists on Caricatures” opened on March 31 in the M.F. Akhundov National Library. Director of the library Karim Tahirov opened the event and mentioned about Haydar Aliyev’s political value to the genocide of March 31, 1918. Addressed the event, deputy minister of Culture and Tourism Sevda Mammadaliyeva spoke about the bloody event committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijanis and regarded the massacre of March 31 as the most bloody pages of the national history. Senior lecturer of Baku State University Atamoglan Mammadli, deputies Havva Mammadova, Tahir Rzayev, publicist Karim Karimli and others addressed the event and spoke about the disasters of Armenians against Azerbaijanis during the centuries, thousands of victims of the genocide lasting up to know.
Then the participants of the event familiarized themselves with the exhibition. More than 200 books about “March 31 Genocide”, magazines, papers and more than 40 posters were demonstrated at the exhibition.
