A number of events on the occasion of solemn celebrating ceremony of the 140th jubilee of Azerbaijani prominent writer and public figure Nariman Narimanov will be held in Astrakhan region of Russia from April until the end of summer, 2010. It was decided during a meeting of Minister Denis Afanasev with representatives of Narimanov region Executive Power of Baku city held in the Ministry of International and Foreign Economical Relations of Astrakhan region. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, regional department of the All-Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis and “Azerbaijan” public organization.
