MTV will not celebrate only Obama’s inauguration with the event, but also an active participation of young people in the last presidential elections. As the channel reminds, during the elections of 2008 a record 24 mln young people in the age from 18 to 29 making 18% of the total number of voters, voted. As AP specifies, besides MTV, other organizations are going to give festive balls in honor of the president’s inauguration in Washington. Upon preliminary estimation, about a million people are to gather for celebrations in Washington.
