The contest “Motherland, our place of oath” announced in 2009 for the best feature film screenplay competition has been concluded.
Here is the jury’s ranking:
1. “I Return Home” (script writer Ismail Safaraliyev)
2. “The Growing Up Children” (script writer Saida Valiyeva)
3. “Garabagh. Four Days” (script writer Leyla Tariverdiyeva)
Note that the 1st place winning screenplay “I Return Home” will be produced in 2010, the 2nd place winning script writer of “The Growing Up Children” will be awarded 1500 AZN and the 3rd place winning script writer of “Garabagh. Four Days” will be awarded 1000 AZN. The awarding ceremony of winners will be held on April 6 at the Haydar Aliyev Palace within the inauguration ceremony of Azerbaijan Cinema Week.
