Lebedev’s interview to GQ published in the July issue of the magazine proved the court consideration. In a talk with Kseniya Sobchak and Kseniya Sokolova Lebedev called Lujkov as a possible source of rumors about Vladimir Putin’s private life. Judge also obliged GQ to publish refutation on that information.
To remind, on 18 April, 2008 “Moscow correspondent” newspaper, founded by Lebedev published a material about allegedly coming wedding of Vladimir Putin and Alina Kabayeva. Soon after that Lebedev himself wrote a refutation note to the information in the newspaper, based, as he noted, only on rumors. Despite of that, release of “Moscow correspondent” was suspended and resumed only in the beginning of October.
