The Law, in particular, states that journalists should recheck information gained from representatives of political parties and public organizations. In accordance with its regulations, journalists are also to respond for the information republished from another resource with added references.
In Byelorussian Association of Journalists they have commented on the Law and pointed out that at present there is a possibility of getting closed for a mass media after two notifications from the Information Ministry, irrespectively of the violation character.
