An event on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy will be organized in Lidice Memorial Complex by the Azer-Czech Society and Azerbaijani embassy in Czechia on February 26. A protocol on twining of towns will be signed by two governors in Lidice
The ceremony will also feature a Haydar Aliyev Foundation-made photo exhibition, a talk on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and a documentary about Khojaly massacre.
Earlier this month Lidice`s Government decided to name one of the streets in the city after Khojaly.
Lidice experienced the same destiny when it was razed to the ground by the Nazis in 1942.
