About 50 people took part in the action. The picketers put on bands on their mouths and held posters in their hands. About 200 people came to support the journalists. One of the action organizers, Tamara Kaleyeva said that “astronomic” sums of damage compensation always “disgrace the country”. She said that journalistic organizations not once have suggested that the parliament should regulate legislatively the sums of moral damage compensation. In her opinion MPs don’t respond to the suggestions, because they file the similar claims.
