In March, 2001 the claimant published an article on possible engagement of officers of the Department on illegal turnout of drugs of Orlov city’s Internal Affairs Department into drugs sell in the newspaper “Orlovskiy meridian” which he chief edited then. It is informed that Godlevsky’s article was written on materials of the Prosecutor’s check up. Officers of the Department initiated a case on libel in Orlov court and judge found the journalist guilty and imposed fine of 65 thousand rubles on him.
