Moscow will host the 4th International Festival of Art “Tradition and Contemporaneity” on May 20-24. The festival will feature the realization of several special projects – “Eternal memory” devoted to the 65th anniversary of Great Patriotic War, “A Window to Paris” (devoted to a French year in Russia).
The exhibition will involve the works of famous artists such as M. Vrubel, R. Falk, Tahir Salahov and young, not so famous painters.
The festival will present an exhibition of more than 200 samples of description, sculpture, photography, drawing and applied art. It will also feature a competition.
The winning work of the competition will be announced on the nominations description, graphics, applied art, photography, architecture and museum.
A jury of the competition will be led by the vice-president of Russian Academy of Art Tahir Salahov.
The awarding ceremony of winners will be held on May 26.
