The war in South Ossetia became the subject No.1 in Russian mass media. It is notable that Russian TV channels devoted significant part of their broadcast time to the comments on the situation from the side of the unrecognized republic’s authorities. On Friday, Georgia accused Russia of “wide-scale military aggression”. Decision of Russia to send its military troops to South Ossetia to defend Russian peacemakers became the reason for such a statement by President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili.
