ARD TV Company notified Wednesday of shutting down its offices in Israel and Palestine as a protest against the arrest of its employee, 42-year-old Sawah Abu Saif. The ARD representatives informed they had lost contacts with Saif supposing he had been tortured.
Saif was found Saturday among the tens of people arrested in connection with the terrorist act in Gaza Strip: five high-ranking fighters of Hamas and a Palestinian girl died then as a result of a car explosion.
