Head of the Conde Nast, Jonathan Newhouse said commenting on the suspension of the magazine publication that normally the German version of the ‘Vanity Fair’ would’ve continued to exist. However, the arisen circumstances made impossible the further magazine publication.
It is notable that the weekly ‘Vanity Fair’ magazine has been published in Germany a bit less than two years: the first German-language issue of the magazine appeared in February 2007. The print run of the edition made about 120 thousand copies.
