As a result of the search actions carried out by the police of Tovuz region, chief editor of the “The law and truth” socio-political newspaper, Eldar Askarov, section chief of the newspaper, Peyman Sadigov, as well as Ganja citizens, Bahtiyar Jafarov and Elnur Yusifov were detained on 9 March.
They were arrested for money extortion from entrepreneurs in Tovuz region. A criminal case is initiated and investigation continues.
