The Tokyo Shimbun newspaper’s cameraman Masami Kawakita said he had been detained for two hours and beaten by the policemen. Reporter of Nippon Television Network Shindzi Katsuta asserts he had been also detained and exposed to violence: the policemen put him face to the earth.
To remind, as a result of the attack on the police station on 4 August, 16 policemen died and as many were wounded. In this connection, security measures were toughened in Sintszyan province where the police station is located.
