IOC vice president, Gunilla Lindberg said the IOC commission had negotiated with the Chinese side on Thursday evening. The negotiating sides agreed that mass media representatives would be able to use Internet as free as during other Olympiads. However, some bans were nevertheless left in force by the organizers. The web sites undermining Chinese political system or “oriented against the national interests” will be blocked.
