The suspects were detained as early as 10 March; however until now the law enforcement bodies have been checking whether they had contacts with the above stated mass media. Investigators consider that the journalists demanded AZN 500 (about $620) from Najiba Kyazimova owning a café in Baku. In case of her refusal they threatened to publish an article that her café is a “nidus of lechery”.
