Great Russian writer and playwright A. Chekhov’s 150th jubilee was celebrated in Peoples’ Solidarity Society of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Deputy chairman of the Society M. Bolotnikov, senior lecturer of Baku Slavic University Antonina Tretyakova spoke about the life and creativity of A. Chekhov and his psychic ability to foresee the future and many others.
Favourite works of the poet were accompanied by the violin performed by the pupils of the 10th form of school № 134. The event featured also his works, scenes from his play “The Horse’s Surname”.
