The Bishkek-based Foundation for Support to the Policy of Turkish-speaking countries continues to publish books on Azerbaijan`s history, literature and culture.
The Russian version of the book “Azerbaijan in 18th and 19th centuries” by historian Guntakin Najafli and Kyrgyz version of “Azerbaijani poets” collection have been recently published. It includes poems of famous Azerbaijani poets Samad Vurgun, Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh and others.
The Kyrgyz version of a collection of works by famous writer Mir Jalal Pashayev will be issued shortly. Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s poem “Gulustan” is translated at present and it will be published as a whole book.
Chairman of the Foundation Nusret Mammadov said presentation of the books is slated for July in Baku. According to him, some 20 books have been translated in Russian, English and Kyrgyz languages to be distributed in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and other countries.
