A PhD, a Professor Nazim Safarov’s book “Nosce te ipsum: antic principle in modern reality” has been published. The book researches the possibilities of a self-actualization of modern reality. The first and second parts of the work analyze the prospects of our country in the context of globalization and the spiritual factors of the economy. The third part is dedicated to metaphysical problems. In the introduction, the author noted that a high-level creative environment in the Baku branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov made him to write the work. Some theses of the book have been changed as a result of these discussions. The edition has been published in Russian and English (translated by the author).
Note that Nzim Safarov’s creative biography has been included into an encyclopaedia “The Russian Philosophers of the 19th-20th century”.
