German embassy in Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences held a literary exhibition “Nobel laureates of German literature after 1945”.
The exhibition was held at the building of Academy’s presidium. Addressing the event German ambassador to Azerbaijan Per Stanchina spoke about the importance of the event and stated the necessity of organization of such events. P. Stanchina noted that the year 1945 became a new stage for German literature and that most of prize winners on literature are German writers.
Books, internet materials and photos of German speaking writers Hermann Hesse, Nelli Zaks Elias Canetti and others were demonstrated at the exhibition.
