Azerbaijan cuisine is considered one of the best and original in the world. National dish of Azerbaijan – “Shah” plov was included into the Book of records of Ukraine as the biggest for all history of its preparation within the limits of integration of national Azerbaijan traditions into culture of the Ukrainian people this month.
Our compatriot professional culinary specialist Mutalib Novruzov worked over the dish which differs enough difficult technology of preparation. “Shah” plov has been made within twelve hours which weight as a result has exceeded 27 kg.
«7 kg of rice, 7 kg of beef, 64 unleavened wheat cakes, 10 kg of fruit (dried apricots, raisin, currants, prunes, dates) and also 3 kg of butter, a saffron for color and taste, salt have been required for preparing record plov», – the cook M.Novruzov has told.
Note that, usually the weight of this kind of Azerbaijani plov reaches no more than two kg.
