Azerbaijan State Art Museum will host a presentation ceremony of an encyclopaedia “Azerbaijani Art” on May 14.
The book has been published with the financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of a project “Our Generation” Public Union of Youth Regional Development Association. The encyclopaedia for children includes information about the fine arts, decorative-applied art and architecture of Azerbaijani art. The materials involves mainly the filed of art such as painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative-applied art and architecture. For the first time the book includes separate sections dedicated to the creativity of youth and children. Note that it is considered to distribute the books to libraries and schools in Baku and in the regions for free of charge. The encyclopaedia has been compiled by the honoured art figure of Azerbaijan Ziyadkhan Aliyev and a young art critic Aslan Khalilov.
