The presentation ceremony of the first volume of a four-volume book “Azerbaijan: international relations and history of diplomacy 1639-1828” published with the support of Regions Development Public Union at Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will be held on March 16. The authors of the edition are the director of the Institute of History of ANAS, Professor Yagub Mahmoudov and Karim Shukurov. The first vice-president of ANAS, Arif Hashimov opened the ceremony and spoke about the significance of the book.
Addressed the event, Y. Mahmoudov noted about the interest of Azerbaijani scientific public to the activity of the Institute of History. The edition is an important manual for Azerbaijani diplomats, mainly for diaspora representatives.
Note that the 512 page book includes about 50 different document and materials.
