The book printed in a refined design included all media outlets known in public opinion.

Azerbaijan Free Speech Foundation (AFSF) has finished execution of realization process of the project of “printing of new and refined catalog of the mass media functioning in our country as a booklet” which it started on October 30, 2009.
According to the information from the Foundation, media-catalog printed in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English includes information on newspapers, journals, electron and internet-media known in our public life, having more or less opportunity to impact public opinion, as well as information about establishment date of well-known journalist organizations, their former and present administration, and structure. The author of introduction of the media-catalog is Musa Yagub, poet and chairman of AFSF, its editors Vugar Tofigli (Jafarov), executive director of the organization, project coordinator Nazirmammad Zohrabli (Guliyev), and corrector is Gulbahar Gurbanova, editor of Foundation’s internet site. The book was published in the printing shop of “Apostrof” Printing House.
Information collected in the book will be placed in AFSF’s internet resource (http://azfreespeech.az) as an e-catalog. This will play an important role in delivering interesting information about mass media of our country and more widely introducing them via internet to the whole world.
AFSF announced that the book named “Azerbaijan media-catalog” will be distributed to the mass media outlets free of charge. All the copies of the book have not been printed yet. After Novruz holiday vacation, all the media outlets about which information included in the book may apply to the office of AFSF to receive “media catalog” .
Collective of the Foundation intends to continue the project in more expanded form, to collect and republish more interesting information about our media.
