Azerbaijan bans advertisement of tobacco and tobacco products, and persons engaging in production or sale of such products from sponsoring.

According to amendments made to the Law on Tobacco and Tobacco Products, advertising the tobacco, tobacco products and their appliances, including caleans, electronic cigarettes, pipe papers, lighters is banned. According to the article #20.3 of the Law, persons gaging in production or sale of such products cannot be sponsor.

The draft amendments was adopted.
