Iran’s Revolutionary Court sentenced a journalist to imprisonment for one year and to the deprivation of the right to work in the sphere of journalism for 30 years.
Jila Bani Yagub, prize-winner of the International Women’s Media Foundation was found guilty of the conduct of “propaganda against the regime,” the ILNA agency reported.
Bani Yagub, was arrested in June of 2009 during the actions held after the presidential elections.
