This book is a gift of the Foundation to the 135th anniversary of the National Press.
Azerbaijan Free Speech Foundation (AFSF) started publication of the new book for the 135th anniversary of “Akinchi” which is considered to be a swallow of our national press.
Together with information, memories collected from different resources about H.Zardabi who remained in minds as a reading teacher of our nation, this book will also present the notes about “Akinchi” that have never been published in Azerbaijani language to the readers. According to the information from the Foundation, besides being incomparable contribution to 135th anniversary of the national press, this book will draw attention of press researchers, students and scientific workers and become visual means for them. In this point, naturally, the most attentional writings are that information which was socialized in the Russian language press about the first newspaper in the Azerbaijani language before publication of “Akinchi” and after its first editions.
The author of the introduction to the book is Musa Yagub, poet, chairman of the foundation, the editor is honored journalist Tahir Aydinoglu, and designers are Vugar Tofigli and Nazirmammad Guliyev. Together with writings about Zarbadi in the previous century, researches of the contemporary researchers as Professor Izzat Rustamov and Vali Mammadov were also included in the book.
