On April 27, the Central Library of ANAS hosted an exhibition of literature and photo materials “The 65th anniversary of Victory in the War of 1941-1945” devoted to the 65th jubilee of the Victory over fascism during WWII. The exhibition featured the history of WWII, the defeat of German fascism and the victory of Soviet people, the materials about the heroes of the Soviet Union Evez Verdiyev, Israfil Mammadov, Mehdi Husseinzadeh, Gafur Mammadov and others. It also exhibited the works about the heroes fighting for Caucasus such as “From the foot of the Caucasus Mountains to Berlin” by R. Zeynalov and L. Borodetski, “Azerbaijan in the Caucasian fights” by G. Orujov etc. The exhibition features also about 300 works in Azerbaijani, Russian and other languages.
