On April 30, the National Library named after M.F. Akhundov will host an exhibition and international scientific conference devoted to a known turkologist Ahmad Zeki’s 120th jubilee, the National Library reported. The event will be -co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TURKSOY and the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS. It is expected to be attended by representatives from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Bashkortostan and Crimea.
Note that TURKSOY declared 2010 “the Year of Ahmad Zeki Validi Togan”.
