Prominent turkologist, Professor Tofig Malikli’s book “Nazim Hikmet. Poetry and Poetics” devoted to one of the most notable poets of the 20th century Nazim Hikmet has been published in Moscow by “Veche” publishing house. The book gives first detailed research of a trend “new poetry” founded by Nazim Hikmet. The author of the book speaks about the life and creativity of Nazim Himet during 1950-1960 in Moscow. Note that the work being the first research of about the creativity of the great Turkish poet during the last 25 years, is a present for the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations and enrichment of cultural traditions between the two fraternal countries.
