Two samples of Azerbaijani folklore – popular eposes “Kitabi Dede Gorgud” and “Koroghlu” have been translated into Hungarian, the Azerbaijan Institute of Folklore under the National Academy of Sciences informed on it.
These books have been published as a result of the scientific cooperation of the Institute of Folklore and European Folklore Institute in Budapest and with the support of the Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary.
The meanings of ancient Azerbaijani-Turkic words have been given in the books which include remarks, comments and explanations.
Further the books are planned to be translated into other European languages.
