“A protest action will be held on 27 February in New York in front of the UNO headquarters. An appeal will be sent to the UNO member-states and the Secretary General”, chairman to the American-Azerbaijan Society, Tomris Azeri informed by telephone the Trend News from New York on Saturday. Besides, the films and photos presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and reflecting the Khojaly genocide will be demonstrated on 26 February. It should be reminded that on 26 February, 1992 the armed troops of Armenia committed a genocide act in the Khojaly town with the population of 7 thousand people. 613 civilians were killed, 1000 people became invalids because of wounding, 63 children, 106 women and 70 old men were brutally killed.
