The reason for the reference to the court is that minister, Elmar Mammadyarov didn’t reply to the information request sent to him.
We should remind that a criminal case was instituted against chief editor, Eynulla Fatullayev, based on the minister’s appeal to the Ministry of National Security. E. Mammadyarov’s appeal says that after the publication of the article entitled “The Aliyevs are taking the field”, the foreigners and entrepreneurs living in Azerbaijan started to express anxiety regarding the matter. In this connection, E. Fatullayev sent an inquiry letter to E. Mammadyarov requesting to provide him with a list of the persons who had stated about their anxiety, but never received a reply.
