N. Maharramli in details informed ambassador on laws in the sphere of TV and radio broadcast and specified that broadcasting is carried out by state, municipal, private and public broadcasters that make the basis of the broadcast system in Azerbaijan. Besides, the National Council chair person informed the ambassador on the fact that in the laws of Azerbaijan and majority of European states is said that only local TV and radio stations may broadcast via national frequencies of the country.
