Reference to the court was caused by the attempt at journalist Mirza Sakit. The director general noted that Mirza Sakit had not been yet transferred to another correctional facility.
To remind, press service head of the Ministry of Justice’ Penitentiary System Mehman Sadihov has already expressed attitude to the case having stated that there was no threat to Mirza Sakit’s and other prisoners’ lives.
