A car with Journalist Dariush Bokhatkevich, cameraman of TVP Martsin Vesolovsky and a Georgian driver was stopped not far away from Karaleti village between the capital of South Ossetia Tskhinvali and Georgian Gori city. As Polskie Radio informs, they were detained in the zone of peacemakers’ control.
As Reuters informs, the people, who stopped the car with the survey group, introduced themselves as officers of South Ossetian law enforcement bodies, however, the detainees were later handed over to Russian peacemakers. Polish TV informed that the detainees are considered prisoners of war, all their equipment was confiscated; the journalists were treated well.
