As he said, Russia militaries had taken off Turkish journalists’ equipment and destroyed the videotapes shot by them. “Russian militaries treat journalists very roughly. A significant number of journalists have suffered for five days since the conflict started. Based on my experience in Chechnya I can say that Russian militaries don’t want to have witnesses of the events taking place, and this is the reason for their rough treatment of journalists”, O. Panfilov stated.
