He stated that in fact there is quite enough space in the ATV present building, but the “ATV International” channel has to employ a great deal of people. Thus the leadership decided to construct a new building for the channel. A vice-president said they had already started employing people.
The “ATV Int.” will be working up mainly public-political and cultural programs. They will broadcast in English, Russian, Percy, Turkish and Armenian languages. The NTVRC has granted a special 6-year license for direct satellite broadcasting of the channel.
