According to him, due to the data for 3 October, 884 international observers were registered to follow the elections in progress. M. Panahov said the registration process would be completed on 5 October.
Having touched upon observation of the elections by mass media representatives, the CEC chair said: “Local mass media can freely observe the elections in progress; they do not need to be registered. Meanwhile, foreign mass media should pass a registration“.
