Chingiz is remembered by people as a fighter – a TV reporter carrying the camera on his shoulders. The fact noted is that the beginning of his activity as a reporter coincided with the war beginning in Karabakh .He had worked at the TV only a year by that time. His voice had been heard not only through TV channels of Azerbaijan and Russia but also through the World leading channels during this short period. We can’t forget his heart’s cry when he was shooting the Xodjali tragedy. This plot is sufficient to show his actions and he is highly appreciated by the Azerbaijan people.
He shot the tragedy of Xodjali, Shusha and Lachin but not only for people, he also copied it to his soul. His courage, self-order and patience and the fact that he is the man who spread the shots witnessing the Armenian genocide towards Azerbaijan people can be the best example for the young generation of journalists.
Chingiz Mustafayev himself shot his death and he became a national hero. ANS CM 102 FM the first Radio Broadcasting Company in the Caucasus and in the Central Asia was called in his honor and the slogan of this station is “We are fated to struggle”. Many organizations and foundations were called after his name and the national duty for us not to forget him.
